Current SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) regulations

Travelling in Austria

Right now it comes with the obligation of wearing a particular FFP2 mask (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FFP_standards).

On arrival

guests need to present either a
– valid negative test result (PCR 72h, Antigen 48h)
– vaccination certificate (not older than 9 months)
– confirmation of a passed COVID-19 disease (not older than 6 months)

Staying at AlpenRetreat

There is a FFP2 mask obligations for guests when entering generally accessible areas (living room, dining room, hall ways, library, silent room).
For the practice in the seminar room (yoga hall), in your room, sitting in the common areas and being outside it is not mandatory to wear a mask.

Wearing the mask in a shared bedroom is also not mandatory as anyway you will sleep in the same room with no mask and the safety distance between the beds is kept.

Self tests will be provided by the AlpenRetreat, so it is possible to self test during your stay.

Quarantine can be done in the house and there will be the possibility to test after a few days (exact procedure is not yet clear) to repeal the quarantine.

General info

The AlpenRetreat will follow the safety guidelines suggested by the government, although in the nature of living together and practicing Yoga together in a house, if you still feel anxious and nervous about your stay, you may wish to consider postponing your stay to next year.
