5 – Day Heart Opening Meditation Retreat with Elly & Wolfgang
This special Retreat will give you the opportunity to come back to, settle in and open your heart.
The days will consist of a variation of different Meditation techniques such as Awareness Meditation, Mantra Meditation (Japa), Metta Meditation and others.
A daily Yoga session will help you to dive even deeper into the understanding and feeling of the Chakras (energy centers) and the more suptle aspects of the Self. The healing and reconnecting to your heart is such an important part of living a harmonious, healthy and happy life. To aid this process there will be periods of guided self reflection, silence and group work.
Influences of the Bhakti Yoga tradition will allow you to delve into the space of the heart and bring you in touch with your self.

We are excited and honered to go into this process with you and will be supporting you wherever you are, in this moment, on your journey.
If you require silence and time to yourself, or more support and connection, your needs will be respected and taken care of to the best of our abilities.
There will be tasty and healthy vegetarian/vegan meals each day.
We will also include some self-reflection work within the program as the practice of Yoga and Meditation is the practice of getting to know yourself. This Retreat is suited for experienced practitioners or people who are new to yoga and meditation.

By Car
Located on the Tyrolean Fernpass, in the north-west of Austria, close to the German border the AlpenRetreat is easily reached via the Fernpassstrasse B179 (E532).
At the top of the Fernpass (Fernpasshöhe) there is a petrol station named "Dolle". Opposite of it on the other side of the street is a roadside restaurant (Fernpaß Rast), a red building, and a big yellow building (the former Fernpass hotel). Follow the small street between the restaurant and the yellow house for about 200m and you have reached the AlpenRetreat.
Places connected by the Fernpassstraße
Füssen – Reutte – Heiterwang – Lermooser Tunnel – Fernpass (AlpenRetreat) – Nassereith. At the border-tunnel in Füssen the Fernpassstrasse connects with the federal highway 310 and the A 7. In Nassereith it merges into the B 189 along the Inntal (Inn valley) in direction south-east towards Telfs and in south-west direction towards Imst.
In winter it is compulsory in Austria to have winter tires on your car. Although the Fernpassstrasse is well maintained and therefore easily accessible, sometimes the streets can still be covered in snow. In exceptional cases snow chains may be required (very rarely). If you are coming with a rental car, make sure it is equipped with winter tires (the rental company is obliged to provide this).
