7 Day Kriya Yoga Meditation Retreat
Kriya Yoga Meditation is a profound spiritual practice involving breath awareness, conscious work with the 7 chakras and the harmonious balancing of the energy pathways, Ida, Pingala and Sushumna Nadis. It is both an awareness practice and an energy practice that creates deep insights and experiences of stillness and inner peace.

As expressed by Per H. Wibe, my Kriya Yoga master, ‘Silence is the background of our being.’ Kriya Yoga Meditation helps us to experience this silence within ourselves and to connect with our inner truth.
In this 7-day Kriya Yoga Meditation Retreat we will dive deep into the practice and understanding of our inner world and settle into the experience of stillness and harmony.
The introduction to the 6 unique techniques of the first Kriya level enables you to cleanse your energy system, calm your mind, create and strengthen the basic requirements for a harmonious lifestyle.
A daily Hatha Yoga class supports the process of holistic detoxification and deceleration. Periods of silence enhance your meditation practice and help you focus your attention more deeply on your personal process.

Let’s embark on this journey together, embracing the words of Lahiri Mahasaya: “Kriya Yoga is a direct method to reach the highest state of consciousness. It is the most exciting experience in life that everyone should have.”
In this retreat the first level of Kriya Yoga is learned and practiced. The energetic initiation into the Kriya tradition can be received from Per H. Wibe in any of his future retreats at the AlpenRetreat or in India, Sweden or Norway. The next retreat with Per at the AlpenRetreat is from 08/27/2023 – 09/03/2023.
For participants who are already initiated in the second Kriya level, there will be the opportunity to take part in guided meditation sessions on the higher Kriyas.
We look forward to accompanying you on this spiritual adventure!
With warm regards and in anticipation,
Wolfgang, Elly and Roman.

The Instructors
Wolfgang Eisenbeutl
Wolfgang was initiated into the Kriya Yoga tradition by Kriya Yoga Master Shankaranda Giri in 2008. This was when he first understood the importance and importance of a spiritual teacher and integrated the role of a guru into his life. Through the daily practice of Kriya Yoga, he quickly became aware of the incredible power and depth of this form of meditation. During a 3 month stay at Shankarananda’s Kriya Yoga Ashram in Rishikesh, Wolfgang met Per H. Wibe in 2009 and attended one of his Kriya retreats. The guidance of these two Kriya Masters accompanies Wolfgang on his spiritual journey to this day. Since 2012, Per H. Wibe has been visiting the AlpenRetreat twice a year to lead Kriya Yoga retreats. Wolfgang has been supporting Per as an assistant teacher during his courses at the AlpenRetreat for several years now. Since 2022, Wolfgang has been leading Kriya Yoga retreats himself with the blessing of his master.

By Car
Located on the Tyrolean Fernpass, in the north-west of Austria, close to the German border the AlpenRetreat is easily reached via the Fernpassstrasse B179 (E532).
At the top of the Fernpass (Fernpasshöhe) there is a petrol station named "Dolle". Opposite of it on the other side of the street is a roadside restaurant (Fernpaß Rast), a red building, and a big yellow building (the former Fernpass hotel). Follow the small street between the restaurant and the yellow house for about 200m and you have reached the AlpenRetreat.
Places connected by the Fernpassstraße
Füssen – Reutte – Heiterwang – Lermooser Tunnel – Fernpass (AlpenRetreat) – Nassereith. At the border-tunnel in Füssen the Fernpassstrasse connects with the federal highway 310 and the A 7. In Nassereith it merges into the B 189 along the Inntal (Inn valley) in direction south-east towards Telfs and in south-west direction towards Imst.
In winter it is compulsory in Austria to have winter tires on your car. Although the Fernpassstrasse is well maintained and therefore easily accessible, sometimes the streets can still be covered in snow. In exceptional cases snow chains may be required (very rarely). If you are coming with a rental car, make sure it is equipped with winter tires (the rental company is obliged to provide this).
