What to expect from this retreat
Presence
This retreat offers deep bodywork and inner release in the middle of the Tyrolean mountains through transformative yin yoga practice and liberating dance.
Nature
Time in the fresh mountain air, silent walks, and the peaceful surroundings support your regeneration and grounding.
Ousia
Together we will explore the unique philosophical and feminine way of being present in this world.
Ousia Retreat Austria is a loving space that welcomes you just as you are, with all that you bring. A break from everyday life, filled with dance, yin yoga, nature and nourishment—for both body and mind.
During our days together we will work deeply into the taoist yin yoga. A form of yoga that is much more than a series of healing postures. It is a philosophy of life and an incredible tool for creating freedom in both body and mind. Yin is inner calm and grounding, flexibility and focus. It is openness and joy. Ousia yin yoga supports the female body in a unique way, aiding digestion, cleansing and sleep while helping to ease stress, anxiety and negative thought patterns. It is a simple yet powerful practice that will hopefully stay with you for the rest of your life. During the retreat, we will practise yin yoga every day, and you will undoubtedly feel changes in your body.

-
Siff Cecilie Mossin
Founder of Ousia Yin Yoga: women’s retreats, workshops and trainings.
For the past ten years, I have worked extensively with Taoist yin yoga, nature connection and feminine wisdom.
I write novels and hold a master’s degree in philosophy, specialising in existentialism, the human relationship with nature and nature’s vital significance for people in the modern Western world.
I also have many years of experience and training in holistic and plant-based nutrition, joyful movement and creating nordic ritual spaces.
“For me, movement—especially yin yoga and dance—is about creating freedom: first in the body, then in the mind, and ultimately in life itself. It is about being present in your body, here and now, and truly feeling and enjoying the life energy flowing within it. The body is a partner, a friend whose voice is well worth listening to, and a direct path to greater freedom and more pleasure—something we could all use more of.”
